The Auction Process
Sales generally start at 10am on alternate Fridays and we also have 6pm evening sales. These can be followed live online, where you can watch or join the bidding process. We normally sell between 300 - 750 items, including autographs, stamps and coins, along with sports and military memorabilia. We sell at 120 to 140 lots per hour and generally stop after every 300 lots for 10 to 15 minutes. Within 24 hours of the sale, we send you a fully costed invoice including all fees, postage and packing. We ship all items in each sale with UK shipping costs from £4.99. You can pay by Paypal, alternatively you can give our auction house in Folkestone a call to pay by bank transfer, credit or debit card over the phone.

How Can I Bid?

Leave us postal or email commission bids to place on your behalf.

Leave commission bids on one of the online platforms.

Bid live online during the sale.

Bid by telephone which would need to be arranged before the sale.

We sell on the basis of incremental bidding so for example an Estimate of £10 – 20 would start at £10 and increase in £2 increments. So if you placed a maximum commission bid on this item at £50 and you were the only bidder you would win it at £10. If there are other bidders it would rise in £2 increments up to your maximum of £50. So if there were other bidders up to £30, you would be the winning bidder at £32.
Postal Charges for Winning Bids
Our UK postage charges start at £4.99 up to £49.99, £6.95 from £50 – £99. £9.99 for £100 to £249, £14.95 from £249 upwards. For collections or larger items which may need Parcelforce charges up to 20kg will be £12.95.
Overseas shipping in Europe start at £6.99 for small packages and will be charged at cost for other items. An insured packet up to 2kg start at £12.99
US, Canada, Australia and other non Europe Countries shipping start at £8.99 for small packages and will be charged at cost for other items. An insured packet up to 2kg start at £14.99
